The Leadership Academy is a six-session series designed to grow leadership skills in High School Juniors and Seniors. Though leadership academies are popping up across the country, this academy is special and unique. Why? Our foundation is deeply rooted in developing young leaders through Biblical principles.
There is no cost for the Leadership Academy, however, we ask that students commit to attending all sessions before applying. Class size is limited to 12 young leaders.
The Mentors
Peter Nelson is the President of Glenwood State Bank. Personal and professional development is a huge passion of his, which is why he wanted to create the Leadership Academy. He recognizes the value students bring to our communities and understands the impact they will have on the world someday. He believes in using his talents to lift others to their highest potential.
Lisa DeKrey is the Vice President of Organizational Development at Glenwood State Bank. Developing others is what she does best! Lisa's infectious energy allows her to moderate each session with passion, which makes learning fun! She has an extensive background in training people to become the best they can be.
