- Insufficient Funds:
Your account balance may be too low to cover the purchase. Check your account balance in Online Banking or Mobile Banking, transfer funds into the account if needed, or Contact us if you need assistance.

Daily Transaction Limit Reached:
For your protection, debit cards have daily purchase and withdrawal limits. Contact us to verify your current limits and consider letting us know in advance if you have a large purchase planned. -
Incorrect PIN:
An incorrect PIN will cause transactions to be declined. Call (800) 290-7893 to set a new PIN. -
Suspected Fraud:
Unusual activity may trigger a fraud alert and temporarily restrict card usage. Check your text messages, email, or voicemail for fraud alerts--respond if they happened recently. Otherwise, contact us if you're unsure whether a transaction was flagged. -
Your Card Has Been Turned Off:
If you're enrolled in Online Banking or Mobile Banking, Card Controls allow you to turn your card off and on instantly. Log in to Online Banking or Mobile Banking, choose your checking account, select Card Management, and verify your card is turned ON. -
ATM-Only Debit Card:
If your card is connected only to a savings account, it may be restricted to ATM withdrawals and not available for point-of-sale purchases. Contact us to discuss your options for point-of-sale purchases.
